Charles George Kemper, retired teacher

Charles George Kemper, 77, of Dagsboro, formerly of Long Island, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.  He was born in Rockville Center, N.Y., Dec. 13, 1943.

Mr. Kemper worked for 32 years as an elementary physical education teacher. He started his career in Kansas and later dedicated 28 years in Wayne, N.J.  In 2000 he and his wife moved to Dagsboro. 

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan Alice Kemper; two children, Kristen and Todd of Delaware; three sisters: Tobea Paskert (Jim) of Florida, Claire Zito (Dr. Gary Zito) of New York and Lydia Kennedy (Kevin) of North Carolina; and five grandchildren: Jared Ryan, Brandon Brittingham, Heather, Lauren and Katie Kemper.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, Ocean View.
