Charlotte Faye Carr, retired grocery clerk

Charlotte Faye Carr, 79, of Millsboro passed away in the loving care of her family and Vitas Hospice Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019. She was born in Pennsylvania to the late Charles C. and Cora M. Ortman Carr April 18, 1940.

She was a retired grocery clerk and manager, having worked for both Safeway and Food Lion. She was a very religious woman, who loved her family very much. She loved computer games, and kept in touch with friends and schoolmates through the gaming. She was a fabulous cook in her time.

She is survived by her children: Connie Davis and companion Darrell Dill of Millsboro, John Kline (Wendy) of Matlacha Isles, Fla., and daugther-in-law Ann Kline of Inwood, W. Va. She was preceded by a son, Gary Kline in 2012.

Charlotte is also survived by sisters Betty and Pat; and brothers Lester, Jess, Paul and Frank. She has five grandchildren: Kyle, Corey, Jason, Regina and Christopher. Also there are eight great-grandchildren: Kase, Kaisley, Cole, Grace, Kevin, Adam, Casey and Baylee.

A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held Sunday, Oct. 27, at Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro. A viewing and visitation will begin at noon until 1 p.m., with the funeral service starting at 1 p.m. Interment follows at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Vitas Hospice, 30265 Commerce Dr., Suite 202/203, Millsboro, DE 19966.
