CHEER held a Veterans Day celebration at the Georgetown Center Nov. 9.
Bagpiper Henry DeWitt and Korean War Veterans Association and CHEER board member Walter Koopman lead the American Legion Honor Guard into the auditorium.
A candle was lit in remembrance of those who gave their lives or are missing in action. Each candle represents a different branch of the military. Saluting, after lighting the Air Force candle is Joann Sedei, vice president of the Korean War Veterans Association Chapter 1.
