The Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation held an '80s Prom Party fundraiser March 12 at the Starboard in Dewey Beach. Cape staff and supporters dressed in their best '80s prom attire to party to the theme of Get Your Dance On. The CHEF event featured food, music, raffles and a prize for Best Dressed Prom Couple.
Proceeds will benefit Cape District arts and personal development programs, including Cape Chorale, Cape HS Theatre Academy, elementary and middle school arts activities, summer performing arts scholarships and the district’s Rachel’s Challenge inclusion/anti-bullying initiative.
