Children’s author Tomalin to sign books Sept. 17

Browseabout Books will again be hosting a book signing for "Sammy, the Sagacious Owl,” by children’s author Chris Fedorka Tomalin, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 17, at 133 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

Sammy is a wise, great-horned owl who is called to help her bird friends when their homes are destroyed to make way for new home construction in Sussex County. Sweet Sammy tries to teach the importance of caring for habitat and how everyone  can all live together in this picture book for ages 3-9 and a lesson for all ages.

Tomalin is also the author of "Oscar, the Obstinate Osprey” and "The Nighttime Comes.” Browseabout will have all of her books available to be purchased and for signatures.
