Children’s Beach House gala sponsors donate $25,000

As presenting sponsors for the upcoming Children’s Beach House gala fundraiser, Jack Lingo Realtor and Jack Lingo Asset Management recently presented a check for $25,000 to the Lewes-based nonprofit.

The second annual event, set for Saturday, Feb. 7, at Lighthouse Cove Event Center in Dewey Beach, will play a crucial part in supporting CBH’s work with underresourced children living with disabilities across Delaware. Through early childhood education, after-school programming, year-round camps and family engagement services, CBH creates spaces where vulnerable children can learn and play safely while building positive relationships with peers and adult mentors.

“Jack Lingo Realtor and JLAM have been tremendously supportive partners as Children’s Beach House steps up to meet the challenges our families are facing this year and next,” said Richard Garrett, CBH executive director. “Last year’s gala exceeded everyone’s expectations, and that begins with this kind of philanthropic leadership. It’s amazing how one incredible night can translate into a whole year of opportunities and positive outcomes for kids who need them most.”

Guests will enjoy a plated dinner, live and silent auctions, and musical entertainment by Kristen and the Noise.
