Child's Play by the Bay, a preschool and childcare center in Lewes, celebrated the holidays with ts annual Christmas Joy gift-giving event.
Done in conjunction with Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach, the event is a chance for kids who attend the center and their parents to give back to the community.
Participants picked a tag with a description of a present off the Christmas tree in the front lobby. Then on the nights of Dec. 9 and 10, teachers, students and parents gathered at the day care for wrapping fun, caroling and snacks.
There were an estimated 75 tags this year for kids ranging in age from infant to young teen.
