Chrzanowski meet and greet raises questions

August 6, 2019

I recently was invited to a Meet and Greet for candidate Edward Chrzanowski. I did not like what I was hearing. He advised me that he is a full-time resident of Rehoboth; however he then advised his second home was in Philadelphia that he shares with his partner.  I wonder how you can live in Philadelphia par time and be a full time resident of Rehoboth? I asked him about the house at 200 Laurel St. and was told that his partner and he own that in an LLC and will move there full time at some point in his life.

It is interesting that an article in the Cape Gazette dated Aug. 8, 2018 shows ownership of 200 Laurel St. as E&R Enterprises and the business partners are Rick Perry and Edward Chrzanowski. This is the same article that indicates a settlement was reached in a lawsuit that E&R Enterprises filed against the City of Rehoboth.  I asked why he owned a house in an LLC and he simply said so he would have limited liability if anything would happen.  That is very interesting as if you want all of the benefits of owning an income-producing property in the city, shouldn’t you also want to be responsible enough in case anything happens?

This one really bothered me.  He was asked a question about pedestrian safety and he said the police department does not do enough to protect them. I defended our police department which does an excellent job for all of us.  Thank you to our police chief and his team for all they do for our beautiful city.

Please join me in voting for the two candidates Susan Gay and Mark Betchkal to represent us in maintaining the quality of life we are used to in this beautiful city.
