Church to hold Thanksgiving Dinner & Coat Ministry Nov. 23 in Lewes

Lewes Presbyterian Church will host its Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner and Coat Ministry from 3 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 23, at the church, 133 Kings Highway, Lewes. Volunteers are from Lewes Presbyterian Church, Delaware Seashore Parrot Head Club, and the Knights of Columbus.

Everyone is invited to the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner for a great meal, good fellowship, and awesome homemade pies and desserts. Coats will be given to children and adults in need. There is no cost for the meal or for the coats. Takeout meals will be provided.

Those who have any gently used coats can bring them to the church office Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (closed noon-1 p.m. daily) by Friday, Nov. 21. Financial donations to purchase new coats will be accepted.
