Cindy’s Wicked Stitch opens in Millsboro

June 12, 2023

The Greater Millsboro Chamber of Commerce recently announced Cindy’s Wicked Stitch has opened its newly renovated red barn storefront at 30338 Hickory Hill Road, Millsboro.

Cindy DiMeglio said quilting was always on her bucket list, and after learning the basics from a dear friend, she never looked back.

Despite having a well-equipped studio with the proper machines and tools, DiMeglio said she prefers crafting her quilts by hand, a more time-consuming process, but well worth the quality. The store is just behind the family’s primary residence.

Handmade items from Cindy’s Wicked Stitch are also available on Etsy and at many local community events.

Store offerings include mini quilts, baby quilts, quilted placemats, table runners, pillows, wall hangings, tote bags, mega bags, Christmas tree skirts, quilted organizers, knitted ornaments, bed runners, candle pads and mug rugs. DiMeglio is available to create custom-quilted items and offers a plethora of distinctive ideas.

When DiMeglio and her husband Lou moved to Millsboro from New Jersey and she saw the barn, she just knew it would become the home of her future store.

In addition to her business accomplishments, DiMeglio loves music and has directed the Long Tones Flute Choir for more than 23 years. She continues to be a music instructor, soloist and director.

"Cindy brings such a positive and delightful energy to our community and chamber. We are thrilled Cindy brought her shop to our community and look forward to helping her thrive in the community,” said Anne Angel, chamber executive director.
