Claude Bourbon, Mama’s Black Sheep shows set Sept. 14-15
The Room at Cedar Grove, an entertainment venue/supper club near Lewes, will host two amazing musical acts for performances at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 14, and Friday, Sept. 15, at 32882 Cedar Grove Road near Lewes.
First up is Claude Bourbon, a newcomer to The Room. Born in France and raised in Switzerland, the internationally acclaimed guitarist’s style mixes Spanish and Middle Eastern acoustic with American blues. He’s currently based in the United Kingdom.
Mama’s Black Sheep returns to The Room Sept. 15, and the concert will sell out. Singer-songwriters Ashland Miller on guitar and Laura Cerulli on drums play a blend of originals and covers, including country, pop, soul and blues.
Tickets for both events are $65 per person and include four-course wine dinners.
Events at The Room at Cedar Grove benefit Paul Kares, a nonprofit organization supporting young musicians and aspiring culinary professionals.
For instance, the charity has provided scholarships to local individuals and groups, and funded a culinary student’s school trip to Italy.
