Free concert during Rehoboth Jazz Fest

Club Phred, a group of musicians with more than 30 years of professional experience, shares a love of music. The group will peform a free concert Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach. From the early days of rock and roll through the present, including rock,  R&B, jazz and funk, the band has deep roots in the Mid-Atlantic Region.  Club Phred formed in 2002 and has performed at several events with Mark Farner, formerly of Grand Funk Railroad, Felix Cavaliere of 1997 Rock and Roll Fame inductees The Rascals, and Gary Brooker of Procol Harum.  Bassett, Dawson & Foy Inc. is sponsor of the concert.

Jazz fest like none other

Despite the added pressures of the pandemic, the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival is determined to deliver the goods. Organizers are promoting this year’s event as a Mini Jazz Fest, offering three days packed full of music. Seating is limited to ensure the safety of concertgoers, who are required to follow social distancing and masking guidelines set by the State of Delaware.
