Colored pencil class at Rehoboth Art League to start Feb. 10

Rehoboth Art League will offer a four-week class on drawing with colored pencil, from 10 a.m. to noon, starting Saturday, Feb. 10, at 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres. Classes continue weekly through March 2.

Participants will work on drawing a close-up of an animal. The instructor, local artist Jamie Moore, will teach design theory using the rule of thirds. Basic colored pencil techniques will be explored as well as developing a color mixing chart and using cross-hatching techniques. Registrants must have some drawing experience. The cost of the class is $120 for members and $155 for nonmembers.
