Come on, Delaware, the orange crush is taken

August 9, 2024

Delaware has creative bartenders, chefs and restaurant owners who could come up with a drink without stealing the orange crush from Maryland. Delaware has peaches, the state fruit; watermelon; blueberries; strawberries. Use one of these fruits in a refreshing cocktail that Delaware can call its own. There are unlimited combinations of alcohol, cordials and mixers that could be used to come up with a cocktail. Have a contest to come up with a cocktail for Delaware.

USA Today had a six-page section on nationwide bars to go to for good drinks and good times. Delaware was represented by the Deer Park Tavern, not The Starboard. Also Kindle has an original red pear martini that would be by design in Delaware, not Maryland.

No one currently in Delaware Democrat politics has ever had an original thought in their lives, from the president on down.

Come on, Delaware, don't copy Maryland.
