Community Bank executive graduates from Maryland Banking School
Community Bank Delaware announced Ken Carey, BSA and compliance analyst, graduated with honors from the Maryland Banking School Class of 2023.
Carey, who holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, attended the Maryland Bankers School three-year program that focuses on developing leadership, managerial and technical skills, and creating a resource network. Completing the program added to the strong compliance skills Carey already possesses.
The graduation ceremony was held Aug. 4 at University of Maryland in Hyattsville. In attendance to support Carey were his wife Paige, daughter Amelia, Community Bank Delaware COO Staci Niblett and Community Bank Delaware CFO Angie Warrell.
Carey joined Community Bank Delaware in 2023, bringing six years of experience within the banking industry and several years of BSA analyst expertise. Carey is responsible for monitoring and conducting complex research on regulatory requirements affecting the bank’s policies and procedures.
