Food Bank of Delaware to host drive-thru pantry Jan. 29

The Food Bank of Delaware is hosting drive-thru mobile pantries in each Delaware county for families struggling to afford food. In Sussex County, the mobile event will start at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 29, at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown.

To help speed up the check-in process, preregistration is requested; go to JanSussexCountyFood.eventbrite.com. On-site registration will also be available. Service will be first-come, first-served. Assistance is limited to one allotment per household. Attendees must be present to receive assistance. The Food Bank of Delaware is prepared to serve up to 1,500 households at each pantry. Recipients must bring proof of ID and Delaware residence.

Unitarian Universalists to meet Jan. 31

The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will hold an online service at 10 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 31. Love Is the Spirit of this Church and Service Its Law is the topic. All are welcome to view the service on UUSD's Facebook page. For more information, go to ussd.org.
