Community partners honored by Red Cross
The American Red Cross held its annual Volunteer Appreciation and Annual Meeting June 25 at the Sheraton Dover Hotel. Volunteers are the power and passion behind the American Red Cross. Red Cross assistance is a gift to the community, from the community. The Red Cross is able to provide these services thanks to the dedication of its volunteers.
2012 Delmarva Volunteer Appreciation Award Winners include Lammot DuPont Jr. Memorial Award, James E. Turner III; Clara Barton Volunteer Leadership Award, Anita Stiles; William F. DuPont Award, Nancy Grahmer; A-Plus for Delmarva Award, City of Wilmington; Disaster Services Award, Glenn Sholley; Mary Morrow Services to the Armed Forces Award, Laura Muskavitch; Youth Leadership, April Sun; Public Support, BNY Mellon; Office Support, Dominic Perazza; Community Ambassador, Dorothy Snyder; Rookie Volunteer, Tam Lebofsky; and Health and Safety Award, Sue Powell.
