Concerts by the Canal to host Comfort Zone Aug. 1

The free Concerts by the Canal series continues its eighth season with the crowd-pleasing Comfort Zone. The seven-person band will perform at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, in Lewes Canalfront Park at 211 Front St. in Historic Lewes.

Popular and well-known throughout the Mid-Atlantic music scene, Comfort Zone delivers everything from sultry smooth jazz to up-tempo R&B to old school soul dance music loved by everyone. Led by soul diva Mary “Snow” Brown, the vocal harmonies and driving horn section deliver an exciting experience and get the crowd involved in the fun.

Attendees may bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and picnic suppers for free family entertainment on the banks of the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal.
