Confucius restaurant dining to benefit Miriam’s Table Oct. 30

Confucius Chinese Cuisine will host its 10th Dining Out with Miriam event from 5 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30, at 57 Wilmington Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

Confucius will donate 15% of sales to Miriam's Table, a nutrition center established in 2014 in the Democratic Republic of Congo by Lewes residents Susie and Ed Keefer. The center feeds a nutritious meal to 350 children daily. One meal costs 66 cents, and $179 feeds a child for a year.

Confucius owners Shawn and Danielle Xiong opened the  restaurant on Memorial Day in 2004. To make reservations, call 302-227-3848.
