Connie Burdette Todd, loved her family, animals

Connie Burdette Todd (Naas), 75, of Lewes, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, after a battle with ALS.

Connie was born in Pontiac, Mich., Aug. 31, 1950, and raised in Birmingham, Mich. She built a long and dedicated career as an underwriter, working for 27 years at Allstate Insurance in Southfield, Mich. In 2007, she moved to Lewes, where she continued her strong work ethic by owning and operating Southpaw Acres Dog Grooming for 17 years.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Todd of Lewes; her daughter, Lindsey Barry (Chris) Parziale; her stepchildren, Michelle Todd and Lisa Todd of Missouri; and her granddaughter, Sienna Jacona of Delaware.

Connie will be remembered for her dedication to her work, her love for animals, and her commitment to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, at Groome Church, 601 Savannah Road, Lewes.
