Coolspring Presbyterian to hold blessing of the animals

Coolspring Presbyterian Church of Lewes will host a blessing of the animals service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 4, at 28843 Log Cabin Hill Road.
The event will be held outdoors or inside the church's community hall in the event of rain.
The public is invited to bring dogs on leashes, cats in carriers and any other pets to receive the blessing. Photos of pets may also be brought, and a memorial prayer will be offered for animal friends who have crossed over the rainbow bridge. The service will be relatively short, but undoubtedly lively.
All are welcome, whether pet parents or not.
