Before the holidays, Santa’s helpers from Coolspring Presbyterian Church delivered Christmas gifts to for families at People’s Place.
The local nonprofit provides high-quality services for families in transition, promoting dignity, independence and self-esteem.
Many church members purchased specific requested gifts for 13 members of four families, including appliances, a bike, toys and essentials. Other members made monetary donations, supplemented by the entire congregation, so each individual received a $100 gift certificate to be used for clothing or a personal wish.
