February 16, 2023

County Bank recently announced Jason Carr has been promoted to senior credit analyst.

Carr is an experienced financial professional who previously served as a vice president and fund controller for JP Morgan Asset Management in New York. After moving to Lewes with his wife and two children in 2021, Carr joined County Bank as a credit analyst.

Carr provides leadership in credit review; analysis and structuring of commercial mortgages; business lines of credit; and acquisition, development and construction loan facilities; as well as development and monitoring of sophisticated reporting around loan portfolio concentrations and various other risk-mitigating projects. He is currently studying to obtain a professional certification in commercial credit from Moody’s Analytics.

Active in the community, Carr is currently serving as a volunteer coach for Lewes Little League and Henlopen Soccer Club for his son, and swim dad for his daughter, a competitive swimmer on the Sussex Family YMCA Tsunamis.

Originally from New Jersey, Carr holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Rutgers University.

“I really enjoy working in community banking and lending my education, skills and experience to contribute toward the success and mitigation of risk for the bank, and I am excited to have planted roots at County Bank,” said Carr.
