Couple tours Scotland and Ireland for 10th anniversary with the Cape Gazette
To celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in September 2025, Cape Gazette readers Gary and Linnea Regulski spent two weeks traveling on a self-guided, whirlwind tour through Scotland and Ireland. Their trip in Scotland was filled with castles, rocky coasts and landscapes, whisky distilleries, gorgeous lochs and “hairy coos” (Highland cows), all while getting used to driving on the left side of the road. They visited Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Inverness, the Isle of Skye, Oban and Glasgow. By the time they made it to Ireland, driving on the left side of the road had almost become second nature, including the roundabouts. Ireland was filled with green landscapes, watery cliffs, sheep, local music, pubs, Guinness and a trip to the Aran Islands, while they also visited Galway, Ennis, Dingle, Kenmare, Limerick and Dublin.
