Deborah Marie Watson, devoted wife, mother

Deborah Marie Watson passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital. Born Jan. 23, 1954, in New Jersey, she was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, who touched the lives of many with her warmth and generosity.

Deborah graduated high school and quickly began her career as an administrative assistant at State Farm. After having her son, Kristofer, in 1981, she chose to pause her professional endeavors to raise him. In the early 1990s, Deborah relocated to Delaware from New Jersey, where she found a new chapter in her career as a manager at OshKosh B'gosh outlet store in Rehoboth. Her commitment to her work and family showcased her strong work ethic and nurturing spirit.

Deborah is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Donald Watson; her children, Kristofer Watson, Bonnie Sabia, Robert Harris and Amy Kuchma; her cousin, Thomas Monroe; 10 cherished grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Alvin Coleman; and her mother-in-law, Edith Watson.

The viewing will be held from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 4, at Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery of Milton will be at 2 p.m.

Deborah will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience.
