Del Tech softball kicks off 2019 season

The Delaware Technical Community College 2019 softball season kicked off March 2 at Rowan College in Burlington County, N.J.

The team’s first home game is Saturday, March 9. It will be a doubleheader against Rowan College at Gloucester County starting at noon. All home games are played at Delaware Tech’s Owens Campus in Georgetown.

Delaware Tech competes in Region XIX of the National Junior College Athletic Association, and is coached by Guy Wilkins and Eric Swanson.

This year’s team features returning NJCAA All-Region shortstop Megan Fry of Milford, All-Region first baseman Madison McGee of Dagsboro and All-Region third baseman Elizabeth Smith of Bear.
