Delaware by Hand show set Nov. 5 in Dover
Delaware by Hand artists will hold a show to coincide with First State Heritage Park's 18th Century Market from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover. This event features high quality, handmade works by local artists who have created items that are geared toward the holiday season.
Participating artists include Carl Forsberg, Lewes, photography; Ania Hawley, Wilmington, fiber/paint; Carol Beck, Wilmington, River Road Candle Works; Brenda Williams, Smyrna, jewelry; Maria Sadler, Milford, Ceramics; Steve Datz, Middletown, ceramics; Nancy Butler, New Castle, jewelry; Katie Casale, Bear, jewelry; Susan Donohoe, Lewes, photography, notecards/stationery; Hank Rhodes, Camden, jewelry; Ginny Barney, Lewes, multimedia boxes; Lesley Campana, Dover, weaving, fiber art; Kathy Lindemer, Lewes, Bay Moon Designs, notecards/stationery; Denise Bendelewski, Magnolia, handmade baskets; Lisanne Kane, Lewes, decoys; and Zia Bowen, Dover, painting, henna jewelry.
This event is free and open to the public. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view the current feature exhibition Clark Fox: Icon Chains. Those 21 and older will also be able to enjoy free tastings of Dogfish Head Beer.
