Delmarva Christian High School holds career day

April 26, 2019

To present information on different career fields for students to consider, 25 members of the business community visited Delmarva Christian High School March 22.

Career opportunities presented included public service, nonprofit work, business, freelance work, healthcare and communications.

Besides describing the responsibilities, training, education, skills and qualifications required for their jobs, speakers also shared the role God played and continues to play in their professional journeys. The speakers gave examples of how he has guided their careers and of the opportunities they have been given to reflect the love of Jesus.

The Crossing’s Youth Minister Adam Woods gave the keynote address and explained how focusing on a love for Christ and a love for others will drive one to success. "No matter what your future career path is, living a life of love by serving others, showing the full extent of Christ's love, will always be at the center of success," said Woods.
