Delmarva Christian unveils major upgrades to performing arts, worship programs
Delmarva Christian School recently announced significant enhancements to its Performing Arts and Praise & Worship programs, made possible through the generosity of supporters of the Stronger Together capital campaign.
These upgrades include advanced sound, lighting and visual technology that allows students to perform, lead and serve with greater confidence. With improved audio clarity, professional-grade microphones, enhanced projection and updated theatrical lighting, every word, note and movement can now be experienced fully by audiences. These improvements also provide students with hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment, preparing them for future opportunities in music, tech and worship leadership.
“The upgrade to our sound and AV gear is an investment in our students who excel in music and tech. It allows our students to be trained on the latest technology and equipped to take what they’re learning back to their local churches,” said Shannon Matthews, performing arts director. “Our vision is that, as they gain knowledge and experience at DCS, they will use their gifts and talents to further the kingdom of Christ throughout Delmarva Christian.”
The Performing Arts and Praise & Worship enhancements are part of the broader Stronger Together campaign, which continues to strengthen programs and facilities across campus. Through faithful partnership and shared vision, Delmarva Christian School remains committed to equipping the next generation to use their gifts boldly for the stage, for the church and for God’s glory.
Delmarva Christian School is one of Delaware’s leading private Christian schools, preparing students spiritually, academically and physically to know and do God’s will in their lives.
