Dining Out for Miriam’s Table fundraiser set Sept. 30 at Palate Café

Palate Café & Catering will be the site of this month’s benefit for Miriam’s Table, a daily nutrition program that feeds over 260 starving children of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The fundraising event will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30. Palate is in the Safeway shopping center at 19266 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach. Restaurant owners Lorraine and Gary Papp are generously donating 10 percent of each check to the children’s feeding program.

Previous events at Hooked, Nage, Henlopen City Oyster House and Rehoboth Ale House have provided over 2,000 meals for the children of Miriam’s Table.
