Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has put out a request for proposals for a boat ramp improvement project at Wagamons Pond in Milton.
The project will replace the existing boat ramp, install a new aluminum fixed dock, replace the concrete bulkhead, install a sidewalk, and repave and restripe the existing parking lot.
A pre-bid meeting on the project will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 19, at Wagamons Pond. Bids will be received until 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23, at the Little Creek Wildlife Area Fisheries Building in Dover. Bids will be opened after 2 p.m. to award the contract.
Cost and construction timelines are still unknown. DNREC spokesman Michael Globetti said the agency could not comment on the project since it is out for bid.
