Donna L. Micielli, enjoyed cooking, baking

Donna L. Micielli, 73, of Magnolia, passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, at Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover. She was born April 12, 1949, in Salem, N.J., to the late Anthony and Margaret McCarson DeAngelo.
Donna was from Pennsgrove, N.J. She also lived in Pennsville, N.J., and Portsmouth, R.I., where she was a certified nursing assistant before moving to Magnolia with her husband.
Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always enjoyed spending time cooking and baking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed camping, boating and vacations to the beach.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Earnie Riddle in 2020.

She is survived by her husband, George E. Micielli; her three children: John Micielli of New Castle, Denise Riddle of Newark, and Anthony Micielli (Diamond) of Georgetown; her two brothers: Michael DeAngelo of Pennsville, N.J., and Anthony DeAngelo of Florida; her two sisters: Margaret Durham (Irv) of Florida and Cynthia Valente (Joe) of Middletown; four grandchildren: Jynnelli Riddle (Daniel), Isabelle Micielli, Sophia Micielli and Zane Brockbrader; and one great-grandchild: Julius Rivera.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Wednesday, Aug. 24, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, followed by interment at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends are invited to a gathering at Tony and Diamond’s home after the interment.
