Dorothy Mae Fisher Chorman, Milton resident
Dorothy Mae Fisher Chorman of Milton passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at the Moorings at Lewes.
Dorothy was born in Gumboro, the daughter of the late Harry R. and Mary E. (Hickman) Fisher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Chorman in 1985; and daughter, Mary V. Chorman.
She is survived by her sons, William N. Chorman, Raymond L. Chorman, Nelson B. Chorman, Michael W. Chorman, Bruce A. Chorman and Edward L. Chorman; seven grandchildren, Erin, Brittany, Valarie, Michael, Karen, Sara and Bruce; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 24, at noon, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Redmen’s Cemetery, Dagsboro. Those attending must wear a face mask and adhere to gathering protocols.
