Douglas D. Tolson, worked in construction

Formerly of Wilmington, Douglas Drew “Doug” Tolson, 53, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015, at his home in Lewes.

He was employed with Grant T. Dockety Builder Inc., in Rehoboth.

He was born in Orlando, Fla., but later moved with his family to Delaware. Always athletic, he played multiple sports including football, track and diving. He was a competitive pool player, loved dancing and with never a hair out a place, definitely a “Sharp Dressed Man!”

Doug will always be remembered as a charismatic soul, handsome, kind, fun loving, extremely thoughtful and generous. We will miss him with all our hearts.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, John C. Tolson.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Logeman of Wilmington; his mother, Ramona Zoccola of Lewes; an Aunt Rhonda MacGill and Uncle Gino Zoccola; cousins and extended family.

A celebration of Doug’s life will be held Saturday, July 11, at 11 a.m., in the Long Neck Shores Clubhouse, Shoreview Boulevard, Millsboro. Coats and ties not necessary.
