Students and staff members of Eagle’s Nest Christian Academy in Milton were the recipients of more than $900 in grants from Delmarva Power for curriculum supplements on energy-related topics.

The utility recently awarded $9,197 in grants to 15 schools across the Delmarva Peninsula to support innovative school projects that focus on subjects such as energy conservation, renewable energy and several other topics.

The grant money will be used to purchase materials, conduct special lessons and create projects that typically are not supported by school funding.
