East Coast Garden Center celebrates No. 1 status
East Coast Garden Center in Millsboro celebrated its third consecutive year ranked as the No. 1 training location for garden center employees in the country.
The garden center certified more employees than any other garden center in the U.S. using the Proven Winners certification program, which is designed to keep employees current on plant releases and marketing trends.
ECGC Communications Coordinator Donna Price said, “This achievement reflects East Coast Garden Center’s commitment to the continual learning of its staff. We take great pride in both the quality of our plants and the expertise of our employees.”
The team at East Coast Garden Center, shown above, celebrated their achievement with a company-wide party Aug. 6.
Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane. Ryan started with the Cape Gazette all the way back in February 2007, previously covering the City of Rehoboth Beach. A native of Easton, Md. and graduate of Towson University, Ryan enjoys watching the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Capitals and Baltimore Orioles in his spare time.
