Easterseals Walk With Me Delmarva event helps families rise above disabilities

Fundraiser assists with costs for programs, services, activities

Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore held its 10th annual Walk With Me and Fun Run Delmarva Nov. 4, at Baywood Greens in Long Neck. The event united families and supporters to raise funds for Easterseals services in order to impact the lives of local individuals and families living with disabilities. Walk With Me Delmarva Ambassador Litena “Tina” Knight and her daughter Ashely Knight of Rehoboth Beach spoke about their powerful experiences with Easterseals.

“We want to thank everyone who joined us for the 10th annual Walk With Me Delmarva event. We love how the community came together to support Easterseals’ important mission,” said Missy Baker, special events coordinator. “Thanks to corporate sponsors and our community, Easterseals is able to continues to bring innovative programs and services to our local area, impacting the lives of people with disabilities and their families.”
