I would like to reinforce the letter from Mary Perkins in the Oct. 7 issue of the Cape Gazette calling out the employees and customers of Lloyd’s Market in Lewes. Two weeks ago, my senior cat slipped out of my house and set out on a 40-hour adventure. I put up lost pet signs in the neighborhood including outside Lloyd’s. George, one of the employees, found him at the front door waiting for rotisserie chicken! Through the help of the employees of Lloyd’s, the neighbors along the street and the staff at Beebe Healthcare, the lost feline was found. I am so grateful to know that people in our town take the time and make the effort to care about each other. This is one of the many reasons I love living in Lewes!
