Edward E. Brittingham, a life well lived
Edward Ernest Brittingham of South Beach Miami, Fla., formerly of Rehoboth Beach, was born Aug. 23, 1949, to Susie G. Small (Waples). Eddie departed this life Friday, March 15, 2019, after a brief illness.
He most recently worked as a VIP concierge at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Miami Beach. He was a member of the South Florida Concierge Association as well as Les Clefs d’Or USA. He enjoyed helping anyone he could. Eddie loved to travel; he had the pleasure of traveling to Switzerland, Panama, and Dubai.
Eddie is preceded in death by his mother Susie G. Small (Waples), grandmother Florence Waples, and brother Franklin Harris. Eddie leaves to cherish his memory brothers Fred Harvey of Milton, John Small (Lisa) of Seaford, and Ronald Small (Greg) of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; sisters Vanessa Satchell and Diane Beckett (Otha) of Coolsprings; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends all over the world.
In celebration of his life, a sunset cruise will be held Friday, May 10, aboard the Caribbean Spirit in Miami Beach.
