An Egyptian adventure accompanied by the Gazette

Lenora Sherard carried the Gazette along when she and her husband, James Sherard, toured Egypt. Their journey included a visit to the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, followed by stops at the pyramids and the Sphinx of Giza. They also enjoyed a three-day cruise on the Nile River, traveling from Aswan to Luxor, with memorable visits to the twin temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari near Edfu. In Luxor, they explored the Valley of the Kings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.
