Elizabeth I. Shapiro, loved the beach

Elizabeth I. "Beth" Shapiro, 75, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, after a valiant battle with cancer at her home in Jupiter, Fla.
Born in Washington, D.C., Beth grew up in Wilmington, where she graduated from Mount Pleasant High School Class of 1966 and attended American University. She worked for Bayard, Brill and Handelman, and then Citibank until she retired and moved to Florida. A consummate beach lover, Beth spent her summers in Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach for nearly 50 years.
Preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Charlotte Shapiro, and the love of her life, Michael Kubico, Beth is survived by her brother, Stuart L. Shapiro and his family. She will be sorely missed by her many friends.
