Elks dinner raises $3,000 for Cancer Support Community

Elks members and guests wholeheartedly sing along to "God Bless the USA."
Silent auction bidding was very popular and helped raise donation funds for Cancer Support Community Delaware.
Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 recently held a fundraising dinner to benefit Cancer Support Community Delaware.
This statewide nonprofit provides a variety of emotional and social support programs at no cost for cancer patients and caregivers.
Ticket sales, silent auction proceeds, and contributions from Elks members and guests netted a $3,000 donation for the organization.
Kate Antisavage, CSC Southern Delaware program manager, said, "All the money donated will stay in Sussex County to support cancer patients, their loved ones and survivors. We are the only organization in the state providing these services for all types of cancer, and we are so grateful for the continued support from the Cape Henlopen Elks."
