Entertainer Corey Andrew to open SunFestival comedy night Aug. 30

CAMP Rehoboth announced Corey Andrew will open this year’s SunFestival Night of Comedy at 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.   A cultural commentator, singer and accomplished storyteller, perfected his gift on the stages of New York City's most famous comedy clubs, keeping crowds laughing throughout his high-energy standup routines.

An openly gay artist, Andrew is a fierce advocate for LGBTQ+ visibility.  Andrew is opening for SunFestival Night of Comedy headliner Zach Zimmerman, a stand-up comedian, writer and host who creates queer, anti-capitalist stories that delight and devastate.  Proceeds from SunFestival benefit CAMP Rehoboth, an LGBTQ+ community center with a mission to create a more positive environment inclusive of all sexual orientations and gender identities in Southern Delaware and beyond.
