Epworth Church to host spring attic treasures sale March 20, 21
The United Methodist Women of Epworth Church will hold its annual spring attic treasures sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, March 20, and 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 21.
In addition to homemade baked goods, shoppers will find toys, furniture, household items, collectibles and lots of surprise treasures. “As a special incentive to come by and shop, all items will be half-price on Saturday,” said Lori Watson, event chair.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to help support missions for women and children in the local community and around the world. Some local recipients of aid include S.A.F.E., which provides a place for abused families to go for emergency shelter and assistance; and West Side New Beginnings, an organization committed to addressing the needs and concerns of children, youth and their families living in West Rehoboth. They will benefit from the proceeds.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Coffee will be available until noon Saturday. Epworth United Methodist Church is at 19285 Holland Glade Road, off Route 1 by Tanger Seaside Outlet in Rehoboth Beach. For details, go to www.eumcrb.org.
