‘Southern Charm’ star collaborates with local shop to design exclusive Lewes pillows

What do Charleston, S.C. and Lewes have in common? Delaware native Craig Conover!  

Conover is a Fenwick Island native and star of the Bravo reality TV show “Southern Charm.” A graduate of Indian River High School, the College of Charleston and the Charleston School of Law, he is a man of many talents. 

TV star, lawyer and owner of Sewing Down South, Craig’s passion for sewing, particularly pillow design, is connecting him back to his roots in Delaware.

Amy Dolan, owner of Beached & Rescued Décor located at The Brush Factory on Kings, has enjoyed watching Conover’s journey on “Southern Charm,” and his local connection gave her an exciting idea!

“What could be better than having a Delaware local use his talents to create a pillow unique to Lewes? It seemed like a great opportunity to collaborate, so I reached out to Craig and we’ve been working together on this exciting project," said Dolan.

Dolan worked directly with Sewing Down South and Conover to create and design these one-of-a-kind pillows, inspired by the beauty and history of Lewes. This exclusive design is only available through Beached & Rescued Décor launching this Saturday, June 19; doors open at 10 a.m.  This is the only exclusive print SDS has created for a boutique retailer.

“Supply will be limited for right now, but I’m hopeful that this is just the beginning for us,'' said Dolan.
