Exhibitor spots remain for Mid-Atlantic Guitar Show March 22-23

February 15, 2024

The Frantic Music Project’s 2024 Mid-Atlantic Guitar Show and Swap Meet will take place Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, 229 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

Exhibitor spots for individuals or businesses selling guitars or guitar-related gear are available. Confirmed exhibitors include Fuchs Audio Technology, Soulfire Guitars, Voltic Electronic Devices, Dana Sound Research and Frantic Frets Music. Sprinkled among the music gear will be a few purveyors of music-inspired jewelry, decorative guitar wall hangers and some vinyl records.

A highlight at the event will be a special, interactive exhibit titled Les Paul - From Start to Finish, showcasing a number of items that once belonged to the legendary guitarist and innovator. Presenter Jim Wysocki and Paul were close friends. The items come from his collection, and attendees will be able to listen to stories and play some of these historical instruments.

Attendees may also bring and register one item to sell or trade the day of the event. A limited number of consigned items will be accepted, and sellers must preregister online between Tuesday, March 5 and Friday, March 15. Sellers are responsible for bringing the item to the convention center March 22 and collecting unsold items at the end of the show March 23.

A VIP cocktail reception will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Friday. There will be light fare by Harbour Restaurant at Canal Square, beverages by Beach Time Distilling and Dewey Beer Company, and live musical entertainment by the Williams Brothers. Immediately following the cocktail hour, VIP ticket holders can preview the show and meet the exhibitors. VIP tickets are available in limited quantity for $125 each. VIP ticket fees include the Friday evening event plus early entry to Saturday’s show.

The official show will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday. Featuring vendors of new, used and vintage guitars, amps and related equipment, and accessories, the show is a benefit for Frantic Music Project, a 501c3 charitable organization supporting musicians in Delaware. Tickets are $10 per person online or $20 cash per person at the door. A limited number of early bird tickets is available online only for $25 each. Early bird ticket holders can enter the show one hour before general admission attendees.

There will be food and beverages available for purchase during show hours, along with door prizes, a guitar raffle and a cash-only 50/50 raffle drawing to benefit Frantic Music Project.
