Experienced ENT surgeon joins TidalHealth Millsboro

TidalHealth Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery in Millsboro recently welcomed Julie Berry, MD, to the practice.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Berry served as chief of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Andrews Air Force Base and chief of sub-speciality surgery at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif. She comes with a wealth of clinical and research experience, and has received numerous awards over the years.

Berry received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine in La Jolla, Calif., where she graduated first in her class. She then completed her general surgery internship at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore, where she also completed her residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, and served as chief resident.

Berry is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and she is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.

When she is not seeing patients, Berry enjoys running, traveling and sewing. Her passion is in theatrical costume design and production, and several of her pieces have appeared in Broadway productions.
