Fall 2016 video game release schedule

September 29, 2016

This has been a great year for games, and it’s not over yet. Since this is my last column of the year (sad face), I thought I should let you all know about the most important games coming out over the next few months. To be perfectly honest, I haven’t had much time to play games lately, and now I’m going to have even more games to add to my backlog. Anyone who says there’s nothing to play is kidding themselves.

I can’t possibly list all of the games coming out before the year’s end, but I have compiled a list of the ones I feel need to be on everyone’s radar.

• 100ft Robot Golf | PS4, PSVR | Oct. 10

• Dragon Quest Builders | PS4, PS Vita | Oct. 10

• Gears of War 4 | Xbox One, PC | Oct. 11

• Final Fantasy XV | PS4, Xbox One | Nov. 29

• Gravity Rush 2 | PS4 | Dec. 2

• Super Mario Maker 3DS | 3DS | Dec. 2

• Dead Rising 4 | Xbox One, PC | Dec. 6

• The Last Guardian | PS4 | Dec. 6 (it’s finally coming out!)

Since free time has been hard to come by lately, I will probably only get to play a few of these before the end of the year. I am getting Mafia III on day one, and I can’t wait for Dead Rising 4! I, unfortunately, won’t be getting a PlayStation VR anytime soon, but I can’t wait to hear about others’ experiences with it.

Thanks for granting me the opportunity to write this column each year. You can check out my personal blog at, where I write about games, music, makeup, cosplay, and more.  See you next May! Game on.
