A familiar building in downtown Millsboro

September 12, 2023

Anyone who’s driven through downtown Millsboro should recognize this building at the corner of Main Street and E. State Street.

Shown as home to the Millsboro Post Office in this undated photograph, the building at 303 Main St. has also been a bank and several restaurants. The vault still remains in the building, and recent restaurateurs have used it as part of the aesthetic.

One source dates the building back to the early 1900s. It is currently sitting vacant. By the look of the visible windows and roofline of the adjacent building, it appears that structure has also stood the test of time, currently home to RE/MAX.
