Family exchange visitors from Italy enjoy Rehoboth Beach
Visitors to Delaware from Olevano sul Tusciano, Campania, Italy, recently spent a wonderful day at Rehoboth Beach enjoying the ocean, sand, shops, amusements and lunch at Nicola Pizza.
They enjoyed the cooler temperatures of the Atlantic Ocean as compared with those of the Mediterranean Sea as well as the soft sand, American shopping and, of course, Funland.
Nick Caggiano Jr. hosted them for lunch at Nicola Pizza. Guests complimented the delicious sauce and quality of food.
This family exchange alternates each year between Delaware and Italy. The program is sponsored by the Sister Cities Associations of Olevano sul Tusciano and Wilmington. Many immigrants came to Delaware from Tusciano. The program affords an excellent opportunity to experience culture, lifestyle and education.
